Yosemite National Park
Yosemite, California: A View from Olmstead Point
Poster Size: 22 x 28 inches
Offering grand scenes of Yosemite's high country from Tioga Road,
Olmstead Point is surrounded by multi-ton boulders, or "glacial erratics,"
that were deposited atop granite domes at the end of the Ice Age.
Olmstead Point was named after Fredrick Law Olmstead, landscape
architect, who was one of the commissioners appointed to manage
the grant of Yosemite Valley prior to Yosemite becoming a national park.
